Jennifer Pearl Breeden (a.k.a. "Jenny Pearl"). That's me.  I am an emerging artist in the Shenandoah Valley.  I've been drawing ever since I first learned to hold a pencil, and everyone around always knew I would be a famous artist.  Well, I might be one day.  A graduate from JMU with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, I have studied drawing, painting, graphic design and photography.  I have also worked in the field of video production as a professional.

My main passion is to produce fine art in the form of drawings and photographs.  I have won several awards in various local competitions, including first place in VECCA's "Fur & Feathers" art show, as well as first place in the "Photography, Color - Animals" category at the Shenandoah County Fair, both in 2011.  My biggest reward and ultimate goal is simply watching someone laugh or gasp when they see my work.

I am inspired by the famous photographers William Wegman and Cindy Sherman, caricaturist and illustrator Tom Richmond, and leather artist and painter Paul Burnett.  I thank the many educators in my life whose instruction has helped me develop into who I am today.  I am also very grateful for the tremendous support and encouragement from my husband, my family, and my friends in the community.
